Royal Mail announces first delivery office with an all-electric delivery fleet

The Bristol East Central Delivery Office, located in the City’s Easton area, has had its 23 entire fleet of diesel delivery and collection vans replaced by fully electric equivalents. Six electric charging posts have also been installed on the site as part of the transformation.

Hyliion launches Hypertruck Electric Range Extender; CNG genset; 1,000-truck pre-order

ABP trialing Terberg hydrogen terminal tractor in UK

The project has been a collaboration between ABP, Terberg, Air Products, and the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult. The hydrogen terminal tractor is based on Terberg’s fully electric YT203-EV. The YT203-H2 is equipped with four 150 liter (350 bar) hydrogen fuel tanks (600 liter total) containing 14.4 kg hydrogen.

Ports of Auckland buys world’s first electric tug; 70-tonne bollard pull

Ports of Auckland (New Zealand) has signed a contract with Dutch company Damen Shipyards to buy the world’s first full-size, fully electric port tug. The new tug, a Damen RSD-E Tug 2513 to be delivered in 2021, will have a 70-tonne bollard pull, the same as the port’s strongest diesel tug Hauraki , also built by Damen.
