Volvo XC40 Recharge EV to start at $53,990 in US before qualifying tax incentives

The purchase of an XC40 Recharge may qualify for a federal tax credit of up to $7,500. In about 40 minutes, the 78 kWh battery can be charged to approximately 80% of its capacity on a 150 kW DC fast-charger. State and local incentives could add further benefits.
