This is a car that seems to fly under the radar, even as it’s one of the last wagons left on the market. The vertical infotainment screen looks good, though the learning curve for its use is a bit steep, especially if you aren’t steeped in the Google ecosystem. Speaking of price points, this is not a cheap car.

Computer users badly needed a cheap, high-capacity, reliable, portable storage device. Flash memory became cheap and robust enough for consumer use by 1995. Though this was before Apple’s 2001 iPod made these devices popular worldwide, a number of MP3 players of varied quality were already on the market in the late 1990s.

In the luxury car market you can feel that the ground has begun to shift. The electric Infiniti has been “postponed,” and BMW is entering the market with a car that doesn’t challenge Tesla. Many workplaces could become EV friendly on the cheap, repurposing existing 120V outlets in parking areas and expressly allowing PEV charging.
