Deutsche Post’s new policy now makes letter mail more climate friendly for private customers as well.

Porsche Digital spins off e-mobility company “&Charge” to promote electric mobility

&Charge” offers a digital platform through which users can obtain credit for their online purchases for electric mobility. These kilometers can then be redeemed, as charge credits for electric vehicles or free trips with public e-scooters and car-sharing services, among other things. Bremen orders 35 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro G electric articulated buses with NMC 3 batteries

Their performance enables long range operation without intermediate charging. The buses are recharged using five charging systems permanently installed at the depot, each with an output of 150 kW. The latest generation of high-performance batteries (NMC 3) come with improved cell chemistry and a modular battery equipment design.

Bremen orders five Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses with solid-state batteries

Delivery of the locally emission-free eCitaro buses will take place in early 2022. The scope of delivery includes five permanently installed charging systems, each with a capacity of 150 kW, as well as three mobile workshop chargers, each with a capacity of 40 kW. Vehicle servicing is also included.
