LG Chem to provide Li-ion pack for Chrysler Pacifica PHEV minivan

LG Chem announced that it won a contract to supply the 16 kWh Li-ion battery pack and controls for the new Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivan introduced earlier this year at the Detroit auto show. In city driving, it is expected to achieve an efficiency rating of 80 MPGe based on US Environmental Protection Agency standards.
