The uniquely designed vessel will be fully battery powered, with e-motor driven Wärtsilä waterjets as the main propulsors. The vessel will operate between Argentina and Uruguay. Delivery of the Wärtsilä equipment is scheduled for the latter part of 2024, and the vessel will be delivered in 2025.

Nissan Motor will invest $600 million in Argentina and will become an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with the domestic production there of an all-new NP300 Frontier pick-up. With this step, Argentina joins a network of global production sites for the NP300 Frontier that includes plants in Thailand, Mexico and soon Spain.

Nissan unveiled the Frontier Sentinel, a concept pickup truck designed by Nissan Brazil’s styling studio, at the 2018 São Paulo Motor Show. The top part of the cargo bed has a deployable platform from which a drone can take off and land. Argentina will join the program in 2019.
