The Audi Q8 e-tron will reach customers in Europe and the United States as a certified net carbon-neutral car. 2018 saw the birth of the Audi e-tron.

The study finds that the rebates had a large and positive effect on the market share of hybrid vehicles, largely at the expense of intermediate cars, intermediate SUVs and some high performance compact cars. The reductions in carbon emissions are therefore not great. The Canadian government offered hybrid rebates during 2007-2008.
