Toyota unveils new Prius; HEVs launching this year, PHEVs in spring 2023

Toyota unveiled the all-new Prius in a livestream event from Japan, with Series Parallel Hybrid (HEV) models to launch in winter this year and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) models to launch in spring 2023. The data is stored on the ECU to avoid data corruption and other issues associated with SD cards and properly manage important camera data.

Seven-Eleven Japan, Toyota launching next-gen convenience store project in 2019; fuel cell trucks and generators

Seven-Eleven and Toyota entered into a basic agreement in August 2017 regarding considerations toward energy conservation and carbon dioxide emission reduction in store distribution and operation. Specifically, the Group plans to increase renewable energy use in stores to 20% and reduce CO 2 emissions by 27% compared to FY 2013 by 2030.

BMW’s eighth-generation 5 Series offers two all-electric i5 variants; PHEVs in 2024

Mercedes-Benz Cars starts production of PHEV batteries in Bangkok; 3rd plant in global battery production network

Mercedes-Benz Cars has opened a factory for plug-in hybrid (PHEV) batteries in the Bangkok region in Thailand. The battery factory in Bangkok will meet this requirement by using large solar systems on the roofs of the production buildings. The plant works closely with the Mercedes-Benz Energy GmbH.
