Niro Hybrid from 2017 through 2022 and PHEV models from 2018 through 2022 are involved. Owners will be notified by September 29 and can call Kia’s customer service line with any questions.

California passes 1M mark for cumulative sales of electric vehicles: BEVs, PHEVs and FCEVs

The CEC updates its Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) sales figures quarterly by analyzing DMV data. Specifically, cumulative sales through the end of 2021 were: 663,014 BEV (62.9%).

Report: Hyundai launching new brand of electrified vehicles in January: hybrid first, then PHEV and EV

The Korea Times reports that Korea-based Hyundai Motor will launch its new brand of electric vehicles scheduled for January. The first model of Hyundai’s new car brand—tentatively named “AE”—will be first introduced as a hybrid electric vehicle, followed by PHEV and full-EV editions, according to the report.
