At the Chicago Auto Show, Hyundai introduced its new 2020 Sonata Hybrid, featuring up to 686 miles of driving range and an EPA-estimated 52 mpg combined fuel economy rating on the Blue trim. This is the first time the Sonata Hybrid has been shown in North America. cubic feet, compared with the 2019 Sonata Hybrid.

The Nikkei reports that the hybrid version of Honda’s next-generation Fit, powered by a newly developed engine and electric motor, is capable of delivering fuel economy of about 36 km/l of gasoline (84.7 mpg US, or 2.8 mpg US, 3.8 mpg US), while the Prius liftback offers 32.6 l/100 km) in tests based on the JC08.

The half-ton EcoDiesel will be rated at 32 miles per gallon (mpg) highway, 22 mpg city for 4x2 models; 29 mpg highway, 21 mpg city for 4x4 models. Ram 1500’s unsurpassed 29 mpg highway fuel economy rating for 4x4 models is significant in that 4x4 models represent more than 80% of the U.S. full-size truck mix.

XL received approval from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to sell hybrid electric Ford F-250 pickup trucks in California, marking the 14 th CARB executive order achieved by the company. XL introduced its plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) system for Ford F-150s last year, highlighting an MPG gain of 50% and CO 2 reduction of 33%.
