The distribution of Neste MY Renewable Diesel, produced entirely from waste and residues, has expanded to the Neste Truck network for heavy vehicles in Finland. At the beginning of the year, we launched Neste MY Renewable Diesel at stations for light vehicles, and now we are expanding the product to the Neste Truck network.

Beginning in 2025, Finland-based Terrafame will supply Stellantis with nickel sulfate over the five-year term of the agreement. Stellantis plans reaching 100% of passenger car battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales mix in Europe and 50% passenger car and light-duty truck BEV sales mix in the United States by 2030.

Sales of Neste MY will begin at Neste service stations in Finland, namely Espoo Piispanmäki, Vantaa Ilmakehä, Helsinki Konala, Espoo Otaniemi, Espoo Olari and Vantaa Varisto. During January, sales of Neste MY will also expand to select Neste Truck stations for heavy traffic in Finland.

Velodyne Lidar has acquired Bluecity, a Montreal-based artificial intelligence (AI) software company, in an all-stock transaction. The addition of Bluecity is expected to be immaterial to operating expenses and cash usage.

Sales of new passenger cars in the EU increased by 3% in 2017 compared to the previous year. Registrations increased in all EU Member States except Finland, Ireland and the United Kingdom. For the first year since monitoring started, gasoline cars became the most sold vehicles in the EU, constituting almost 53% of sales.
