BMW Group puts another 40t battery-electric truck into service

The BMW Group and the transport and logistics service provider Elflein have commissioned a 40-ton battery-electric truck for material transport for the BMW Leipzig plant. This follows on the successful pilot testing of a similar 40t electric truck in Munich that began in 2015. ( Earlier post.). The truck, provided by Terberg Edgecombe, is used by Elflein on a daily 5 km route between the logistics center in the District of Dingolfing and the Leipzig plant.
