Researchers from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering and Fujitsu have applied quantum-inspired computing to find the promising, previously unexplored chemical family of Ru-Cr-Mn-Sb-O 2 as acidic oxygen evolution reaction catalysts for hydrogen production. The best catalyst shows a mass activity eight times higher than state-of-the-art RuO 2 and maintains performance for 180 h.
