Ive found it facinating how car commercials changed the main MPG number they promoted before gas went over $4 a gallon as city miles. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. Going from 12MPG to 15.8MPG saves more gas than going from 50MPG to 500MPG.
