EVgo and GM open 1,000th DC fast-charging stall

EVgo and General Motors have surpassed 1,000 fast charging stalls as part of their collaboration to expand fast-charging infrastructure. To date, EVgo and GM have opened fast-charging stalls across nearly 230 locations in 39 markets covering 27 states, with the majority featuring high-power 350kW fast charging.

GM launches Dealer Community Charging Program; > 40,000 charging stations and new smart EV supply equipment

General Motors announced a new community charging program to install up to 40,000 Level 2 EV chargers across the US and Canada. General Motors to recall all additional Bolt EVs, through MY 2022, for battery replacement; $1B cost

General Motors is voluntarily expanding the current Chevrolet Bolt EV recall ( earlier post ) to cover the remaining 2019 and all 2020-2022 model year vehicles, including the new Bolt EUV. GM will replace defective battery modules in Chevrolet Bolt EVs and EUVs with new modules, with an expected additional cost of approximately $1 billion.
