Today we could be using lead-acid EVs, lead-carbon-acid EVs, or nickel metal hydride or lithium-ion hybrids. Considering the cost of batteries, these are disposable cars. Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising. Maybe they can sell it on the ability to be recycled.
