Chrysler LLC to Cut 25% of US Dealers

Chrysler LLC will cut 789 (25%) of its 3,181 dealerships in the US, subject to approval by the US Bankruptcy Court. The dealers to be cut represent 14% of the company’s sales volume, according to Chrysler. Chrysler says it plans to maintain business as usual with all of its dealers through the transition.

Chrysler Group US sales up 10% in December, 21% for 2012; FIAT largest gainer

Chrysler Group LLC reported US sales of 152,367 units in December 2012, a 10% increase compared with sales in December 2011 (138,019 units), and the group’s best December sales since 2007.
