Vitesco Technologies, formerly (until September 2019) the Continental Powertrain Division, has won a major contract from an European vehicle manufacturer for the supply of innovative electric heating elements for diesel catalytic converters. In the extremely slow “Traffic for London” cycle, NO x emissions fell by 62%.

Brunel to use Camcon Single Cylinder IVT in researching future powertrain concepts

Brunel University London is the first to begin researching future powertrain concepts using Camcon Automotive ’s new Single Cylinder Intelligent Valve Technology (SCI). SCI Systems use four independent iVT actuators (one per valve). SCI enables event-shaping, allowing the maximum opening point of the valve to be skewed within the event.
