Audi is introducing the vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) service “Traffic Light Information” in Europe. From July, Audi will network new models with the traffic lights in Ingolstadt/Germany; further European cities will follow from 2020 onwards. With the Traffic Light Information function, drivers are more in control.

Scientists at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) have demonstrated the first visible-light photoelectrochemical system for water splitting using TiO 2 enhanced with cobalt. This process is carried out in electrochemical cells that contain an anode and a cathode submerged in water, which are connected through an external circuit.
