The Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX has beat its own efficiency record ( earlier post ) in real-world driving with another 1,000 km+ (621 mile+) journey on a single battery charge. Continuing its journey in the UK, it took the M25 around London then stopped off at Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix in Brackley.

Under a newly signed a Memorandum of Understanding, BYD will supply greentomatocars with 50 of its battery-electric e6 models for trial use as minicabs in London. greentomatocars is London’s second largest quality minicab service, with a fleet of 300. —Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

Bus operator Go-Ahead London has taken delivery of its first Smith electric Edison vans, following a successful month-long trial of the technology. The vans are used as support vehicles for roadside assistance and for distributing spare parts around Go-Ahead London’s locations in the capital.
