The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is now operating the largest fleet of electric buses in North America. In June 2018, the Board approved the purchase of 30 more. The money is being used for these electric buses and to begin laying the infrastructure for future expansion of the TTC’s zero-emissions fleet.
