A team at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland has developed a new type of anode material, MSnS 2 (M = Fe, Cu), that is able to cycle in both lithium-ion and lithium-sulfur batteries. A paper on the material is published in the Journal of the Electrochemical Society. Electrochem.
