The amount adds to the more than $3 billion that Honda has invested in its U.S. of America, Inc. HTM) in Russells Point, Ohio. plants over the past four years.

Honda Reveals Saloon Electric Concept, Announces New EV Line

Honda begins production of motor free of heavy rare earth elements; debuting in the Freed next month

Honda President Ito steps down, Takahiro Hachigo to replace him

Honda Motor Co., Takanobu Ito, the current President, Chief Operating Officer and Representative Director, will remain on the board and assume the post of Director and Advisor to Honda Motor. Hachigo was in charge of developing the first-generation of the US-built Odyssey minivan, which was launched in 1999 primarily for the US market.
