Four electric vehicle charging stations were unveiled today at a new parking structure in downtown South San Francisco. The Coulomb J-plug/120V units were installed under grants to ChargePoint America (DOE and CEC money). For the time being, there is no charge for either the parking or charging for vehicles that plug in.

Missed Charge Station Opportunity in San Francisco

California Energy Commission Approves $800K in four regional grants to prepare for electric vehicles

The California Energy Commission’s (CEC) Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program (ARFVTP) approved four regional planning grants to prepare for electric vehicles. The council will help promote the use of plug-in electric vehicles in the tri-county area. The four awards just approved included: $199,379 to SANDAG.
