Iveco Group chooses HTWO (Hyundai) fuel cell systems for the next generation of hydrogen buses in Europe

Pozna? orders 25 Solaris hydrogen buses

Alstom and Snam to develop hydrogen trains in Italy

Alstom and Snam, one of the world’s leading energy infrastructure companies, have signed a five-year agreement to develop hydrogen trains in Italy. As part of the agreement, Alstom will manufacture and maintain newly built or converted hydrogen trains, while Snam will develop the infrastructures for production, transport and refueling.

Frankfurt buys 13 Solaris hydrogen buses

The company In-der-City-Bus, which is in charge of public transport in Frankfurt, Germany, has awarded a tender for 13 hydrogen buses to Solaris. The Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses are to be deployed on target routes in 2022. The Urbino hydrogen buses are powered by a 70 kW fuel cell stack.

Alstom to supply Italy’s first hydrogen trains

Alstom will supply six hydrogen fuel cell trains, with the option for eight more, to FNM (Ferrovie Nord Milano), the main transport and mobility group in the Italian region of Lombardy, for a total amount of approximately €160 million. The hydrogen version will match the operational performance of diesel trains, including their range.

Duisburg orders 25 Solaris hydrogen buses

The public transport operator in the German city of Duisburg has chosen Solaris for the delivery of 25 Urbino hydrogen buses—11 of the 12-meter version and 14 articulated, 18-meter vehicles. The Urbino 12 will use 70 kW fuel cells, while the Urbino 18 will use 100 kW.
