We believe we have everything wired correctly but we aren't spinning the motor and when we complete the start sequence (push the brake pedal and turn ignition key to start position) we lose our serial connection to the controller, though the OK light stays illuminated. Is there anyone out there with some experience using this controller.
Body is in pristine shape, comes with all new lights, window rubber, alloy wheels, wire harness and more. Complex Engineering: Designers must find clever ways to keep the motor compact and light, or risk a clunky driving experience. I do not have equivalent full sized on road experience with 4wd electric hub drives (under 900lb vehicles on hub drives so far). But maybe I am missing something. Just a red light on the BDI and ‘shutting down’. The BDI still reads zero and the screen says “shutting down”. There are no errors and the battery voltage reads 76v at the 1313 programmer. It doesn’t engage in forward or reverse. I bought a Curtis 1313 programmer but I can’t seem to get the BDI to read anything but zero! I changed the BDI.

The quadrunner has been stripped of everything ICE, and I have retained what electrical will be needed for lights etc. Obviously the gearing in the transaxle is totally wrong. So I write that one up to lessons learned.
