Norway-based Eltek has signed an agreement with Volvo Car Corporation regarding deliveries of on-board chargers for a hybrid electrical vehicle program. Under the agreement, Eltek will supply complete water-cooled on-board chargers with volume production starting in 2012. The charger is designed to be placed in an IP housing.

The US Department of Energy (DOE) partnered with ConocoPhillips and the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC) on the test, which was the first field trial of a methane hydrate production methodology whereby CO 2 was exchanged in situ with the methane molecules within a methane hydrate structure.
