In a recent announcement, electric vehicle maker Rivian announced that it had reached an agreement with Tesla to adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its vehicles. Rivian’s future R1 vehicles, starting in 2025, as well as the upcoming R2 platform, would directly incorporate NACS charge ports.

The Tesla Semi is about to electrify Canada’s logging industry, with Vancouver Island-based Mosaic Forest Management announcing that it had placed an order for three Tesla Semis. If the pilot program proves successful, Mosaic would electrify its fleet of 300 logging trucks as part of its efforts to become carbon neutral by 2035. .
