At first blush it would seem odd, if not mildly sadistic, to have journalists driving Cadillacs largest vehicle through the streets of San Francisco, which are known for being tight, busy and at times a bit crazy.

Entry-Level Cadillac Electric SUV Ready to cross the bridge The 2025 Optiq will be the entry-level all-electric SUV for Cadillac when it goes on-sale in early 2026. The Optiq will be part of an ever-expanding Cadillac EV line-up of Lyriq, Vistiq, Escalade IQ, Escalade IQL and Celestiq. Ours was Radiant Red.

The S is positioned more as upmarket SUV than an outright performer -- maybe we'll see a Trackhawk down the line -- but that didn't stop some of the assembled media from lighting up the tires at a stoplight.
