UC Davis ITS study suggests hastening consumer adoption of plug-ins will require innovation on the sales side

A study by researchers at the Institute of Transportation Studies, UC Davis finds that buyers of plug-in vehicles (PEVs) are substantially less satisfied with the dealer purchase experience than buyers of conventional vehicles—with the notable exception of Tesla buyers. In contrast, buyers ranked Tesla much more favorably.

Toyota and Tesla to build RAV4 Electric Vehicle at Toyotas Woodstock, Ontario production facility beginning in 2012

Toyota and Tesla Motors, Inc. confirmed that their jointly-developed RAV4 electric vehicle ( earlier post ) will be built at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, Inc.
