MIT team develops first supercapacitor made entirely from neat MOFs, without conductive additives or binders

The MOF-based device shows an areal capacitance that exceeds those of most carbon-based materials and capacity retention greater than 90% over 10,000 cycles, in line with commercial devices. Tests showed they lost less than 10% of their performance after 10,000 cycles, which is comparable to existing commercial supercapacitors.
