Volvo Car Group boosts production of V60 PHEV by 90%; 7,600 units in 2013

Volvo Car Group (Volvo Cars) is ramping up production of the V60 Plug-in Hybrid ( earlier post ) by 90% to meet demand, especially in Holland, Belgium and Italy. The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid is the synthesis of close cooperation between Volvo Car Group and the Swedish electricity supplier Vattenfall.

Stena Line introducing battery-electric operation to ferry; three stages up to 50 all-electric nautical miles

2,150 Workhorse W-15 range-extended electric pickups under letters of intent by fleets
