A Chinese news outlet’s industry sources recently revealed that Tesla may release a “lower-priced Model Y” in China. The cheaper Tesla Model Y will have the same battery, power, and chassis as the current Model Y–meaning the Juniper. In late February, Tesla China started 2025 Model Y Juniper deliveries.
