The Volkswagen Group rolled out a new diesel swapping program in Germany. Environmental incentives for scrappage of Euro-1 to Euro-4 diesel vehicles of any make are again being offered by some of the Group’s brands throughout Germany. million low-emission new Euro-6 diesel vehicles took to the roads in Germany, replacing old vehicles.

The New Zealand government has introduced subsidies to make electric vehicles cheaper as the new petrol and diesel cars more expensive. The country aims to shift to an emissions-free fleet. Last week the Climate Commission has laid out new benchmarks in India to transform its fleet. It will be implemented from the next month.
