As per Rhode Island Energy, there are currently about 500 electric vehicle charging stations in the state. Tesla’s Supercharger stations can be found at various locations, including a number of Neon Marketplace gas stations in the area. The Governors of California, Oregon and Washington and the Premier of British Columbia signed a regional agreement strategically to align policies to reduce greenhouse gases and promote clean energy. The agreement has no legal effect and imposes no legally binding obligation.

California has led the nation in limiting the use of ICE vehicles, even going as far as banning the sale of new gas-powered vehicles past 2035. Six states, including New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Oregon, Washington state, and Massachusetts, are expected to follow California’s lead and implement these regulations as well.
