Under the partnership, Rio Tinto and Imperial will together define a set of major global challenges that need to be addressed.

Ford Motor Company will begin making its London-based GoDrive car-sharing service available to the public. With the global car-sharing industry expected to exceed US$6 billion (£3.8 billion) by 2020, Ford is introducing GoDrive to target on-demand use and gain insight on emerging mobility trends and customers’ car-sharing habits.

The project was delivered in conjunction with global speciality chemical company Croda, which provided fluids for testing and validation as part of an immersive cooling system for the vehicle’s battery pack. Providing enhanced thermal management of the battery has the potential to offer further accelerated fast-charge times in the future.

UPS has been a strong strategic partner of Arrival’s, providing valuable insight into how electric delivery vans are used on the road and, importantly, how they can be completely optimized for drivers.
