Toyota and Ford See Hybrid Gains in March, While Honda Hybrids Drop

The top two vendors of hybrids in the US, Toyota and Ford, each reported strong gains in hybrid sales in March 2010 year-on-year. Ford reported hybrid sales of 3,050 units, up 69.3% Honda, however, reported a decrease in hybrid sales of 22.2% Honda, however, reported a decrease in hybrid sales of 22.2% from March 2009.

Rasmussen Poll Finds GM, Ford, Toyota Are Top for Planned Purchases in US

According to a recent Rasmussen survey, GM edges out Ford and Toyota as the vehicle Americans definitely plan to buy next. Ford is a definite buy for 13%, while 35% more say they’ll consider it. Just 19% rule out a Ford completely, though. Twenty-two percent (22%) know they definitely won’t buy a Honda.
