Swedish Energy Agency awards climate-neutral methanol project €30M; Project AIR

The project is being carried out by the Swedish chemical group Perstorp in cooperation with partners Uniper (Germany) and Fortum (Finland), and the aim is to reduce carbon emissions by up to half million tons annually. If completed, Project AIR will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 500,000 tons annually.

Shell sets world record for deepest subsea oil and gas well in Perdido Development: 9,627 feet in Gulf of Mexico

Perdido itself weighs 50,000-tons.
