The rear head and leg room easily and comfortably accommodate a 6-foot plus person, and can handle three child seats. The flat roof and wide opening doors makes for easy access to the rear seat, where there is almost the same space as the larger Tiguan. The 60/40 rear seat in the Taos 4Motion folds near-flat for 60.2 respectively.

Unlike the other E-GMP vehicles we are familiar with in Australia – the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6 – the GV60 does not feel like it has acres of interior space. More annoying personally was the thick steering wheel rim, over-sized spokes and the powered reach adjust which didn’t extend out far enough to suit my driving position.
