Cadillac demonstrates V2I capability with traffic siginals

Cadillac’s CTS sedan, one of the first production vehicles to contain Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication ( earlier post ), has now successfully demonstrated Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) capability in Michigan. This is similar to the encryption used on Cadillac’s V2V technology.

ContiTech develops first polyamide strut mount for Cadillac chassis vibration control; 25% lighter

It is the first strut mount made of this material, which is used both in the front and rear axle in the chassis environment of passenger cars. In collaboration with General Motors LLC, ContiTech developed the strut mount for the new Cadillac CT6, which is being launched on the market at the end of 2015.

Pierburg, Swoboda, BASF and GM develop the first all-plastic fuel vapor pump assembly in series production

Pierburg (Rheinmetall Automotive), Swoboda, BASF and General Motors (GM) have developed the first all-plastic fuel vapor pump assembly in series production. It is currently produced at Pierburg’s facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina and placed on the 2019 Cadillac XT4. We worked with GM to get this part ready for the Cadillac XT4.
