ArcelorMittal Europe to produce “green steel” starting in 2020

Green Car Congress

By installing an electrolyzer, hydrogen can be produced and injected in large volumes into the blast furnace tuyeres. The project will reduce the volumes of coal needed in the iron ore reduction process, thereby cutting CO2 emissions. Previously, this emerging technology has only been tested at small pilot plants in Europe.

How EVs Are Reducing Carbon (CO2) Emissions

Blink Charging

This year, we have increased our focus on waste reduction, recycling, energy conservation, and exploring more sustainable materials to incorporate into our products. Unlike conventional cars, they don’t release as much heat, which can be a problem in cities where streets and buildings trap heat, making the region hotter.

Hydrogenics to supply 1MW electrolyzer to project converting CO2 to methanol; Power-to-Gas

Green Car Congress

Installations of up to 200 MW can be implemented relatively rapidly and efficiently operated. This kind of large-scale installation would produce up to 180,000 tons of methanol a year and thus stop emissions of up to 260,000 tons of CO 2. MHPSE is acting as the system integrator. The project has a budget of €11 million (US$12.4
