Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo concept to be used as race taxi in Formula E; “virtuality turns into reality”

Audi has produced the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo concept car, which it will deploy as a race taxi in Formula E starting with the race in Rome on Saturday 14 April. Numerous automobile manufacturers developed virtual race cars for the contest. —Audi’s chief designer Marc Lichte. System output is 600 kW (815 hp).
