Rivian chooses company for Georgia plant construction

Rivian has selected a construction firm to build its new production facility located outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Although Rivian began talks with Georgia about the project in 2021 and construction was originally slated for 2022, plans were delayed over certain zoning issues and the approval of $1.5 Clayco Inc.

First Tesla V4 Supercharger in the US goes live

Earlier this month, V4 Superchargers were spotted in a suburb outside Atlanta, Georgia. Besides the one in Georgia, 8 V4 Supercharger stalls were spotted in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Tesla station was still under construction and surrounded by a chainlink fence. A few V4 Superchargers were also spotted in Prattville, Alabama.

Ford and Georgia Tech partner on hydraulic hybrid school bus conversion
