US Postal Service contractor chooses propane for parcel deliveries; F-750s with ROUSH tech

The vehicles are used for contracted parcel delivery routes between USPS locations in North and South Carolina. Propane autogas costs about 40% less than gasoline, and 50% less than diesel. Propane autogas engine technology has progressed to the point where emissions are reduced to near zero.

Pierburg, Swoboda, BASF and GM develop the first all-plastic fuel vapor pump assembly in series production

It is currently produced at Pierburg’s facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina and placed on the 2019 Cadillac XT4. The design is a major achievement for emissions reduction as it enables a leak-proof seal for gasoline vapors. We worked with GM to get this part ready for the Cadillac XT4.

Volvo Cars to eliminate diesel engines from the new S60 sedan

All new Volvo models launched from 2019 will be available as either a mild gasoline hybrid, plug-in gasoline hybrid or battery electric vehicle. The new S60 will initially be available with a range of four-cylinder Drive-E gasoline engines as well as with two gasoline plug-in hybrid versions.

DOE 2015 SBIR/STTR Phase 2 Release 1 awards include 3 hydrogen projects
