Earlier this week, New Jersey officials announced plans to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035. The ban is New Jersey’s effort to improve the air quality in the state. The gas car ban is New Jersey’s first step toward zero-emissions vehicles. The rule will only apply to new car sales.

Stellantis is reportedly no longer allocating gasoline-only vehicles to the fourteen states with leadership that has agreed to adhere to the emission standards set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
