The Peterbilt Model 579EV will deliver the RNG to the Dane County landfill facility, where it will be injected into the natural gas pipeline to be used as clean transportation fuel on the west coast. AMP Americas in deal with two national dairy cooperatives to build 7 CNG fueling stations, bring in more Class 8 CNG trucks

AMP Americas signed a deal with Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) and Select Milk Producers, both national dairy cooperatives, to convert a portion of their diesel needs to CNG by working with haulers to convert their fleets to CNG-powered trucks. AMP operates the largest US renewable natural-gas plant that produces fuel from cow manure.

LCSWMA launches $4.8M CNG project; 14 new trucks and filling station

LCSWMA’s CNG project includes 14 new Peterbilt transfer trucks with Cummins-Westport ISX 12L CNG engines, costing around $2.2 LCSWMA purchased the fleet in 2013 and transitioned them into operation last month. Previously, LCSWMA used diesel-powered trucks that consumed an average of 140,000 gallons of diesel fuel annually.
