The Nasik franchisee of NIIT chanced upon his paper – and immediately made Shashank an offer to join the IT company that he was running. It has an interesting gizmo where the 800 V DC gets converted to 230 V AC – and can be accessed via a normal 15 A plug. kWh of juice. I am told that it can do a DC charge at 240 kW!

The company has since grown to over 100 employees, and the company boasts that many are former SpaceX, Tesla, and Rivian workers (like, well, every other electric startup).

And if you're located in California, the California Energy Commission portion of the grant to Coulomb will pay for installation. Free Juice Bar explicitly sells charge stations to offer free power.
