Long-range all-electric trucks like the Tesla Semi will not come cheap. The bill allocates $369 billion for programs that help fight climate change and preserve the environment, and it also includes a number of revamped EV tax credits. I really expect Tesla to raise prices on the Semi, its too cheap at this point.

Economist says cheap Chinese EVs should be kept out of U.S. Any EVs with components are not eligible for the IRA’s EV tax credits.
