My ramblings on the 2022 EV scene I have an electric cycle, which is an eAdicct conversion kit added to a Schnell 26 inch cycle. Quality light weight normal cycles are the way to go. TVS launched a decent scooter with a joke battery that gave a range of 55 km. kWh battery pack with range of around 120 km at a lesser cost.

Whereas the original Niro was available as a regular hybrid , a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and a battery electric vehicle (EV), the new model does without the PHEV option. Tarun used to regularly swap batteries in the first year, but does not swap nowadays. A few months ago, he got a brand new battery at the swap station. Since then he has stayed with the same battery. The original idea was three wheeler rickshaw battery swapping. 35 to 40% of the vehicle cost is battery.
