Rolls-Royce is releasing mtu rail engines for use with sustainable fuels. Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO or renewable diesel), which is already commercially available today, reduces CO 2 emissions by up to 90%. Series 1600 and versions of Series 4000 engines will follow in the near future.

Hyliion acquires KARNO fuel-agnostic generator technology from GE for range-extended electric truck
